Blogging For You, Not for Me

I’ve been selfish.
Up until now, this blog has been mainly for me. It’s a mind dump when I get an idea that I need to hash out. Therefore, it’s poorly edited, long-winded, and barely consumable by the above-average human.
I’ve gotten some feedback, and I’m now currently thinking of a few different options. I’m going to start three blogs, all with much shorter, more regular posts.
- I want to continue this blog on how to move beyond the career paths that are set out for you.
- I want to make it more consumable, by rehashing some of the things I’ve already said, but making them shorter and more applicable.
- I am going to start a video blog on how to make balloon animals, and basically replace my pathetic balloon animal site (www.balloons.craigdossantos.com).
- People are always fascinated by this simple skill, and there is nowhere on the net where you can go for zero-to-hero advice on how to do it.
- Another blog on Memory. My current memory site is okay, but still leaves much to be desired. My whole premise for talking about memory is to spread the information I’ve learned to the masses. Let’s face it. That’s not going to happen with just my speaking schedule. So I’m going to create some blog/video entries as well on how to do the more basic stuff. I’m also training for the US Memory Championships next year, so I can put in some interesting entries about that.
Any thoughts? Any suggestions on design or even better, an offer to help me? ![]()
